Things I Like About GunMate Range Bag

Compartments

The main and side compartments are both well made. The interior is soft yet durable and it’s also customizable. There is room for two full-size handguns so even larger pistols will fit in nicely.

As I mentioned above you can remove the dividers and adjust the division in the bag. You can keep the dividers if there are a lot of small items in it. If you want to put a large ammo box in the bag, just remove the dividers. It’s this level of flexibility that gives the 1919687  an advantage over the rest.

Pistol Rugs

The pistol rugs are exceptionally good and it’s big enough for a 9mm Glock and or a Browning Buckmark 5.5”. The pistol rugs are as well made as the compartments with padding. This is a good thing because the thick padding allows the bag to keep its shape and provide better protection.

Zippers and Fittings

The zippers and fittings work as well as advertised. These are heavy duty zippers that open and close smoothly. They’re not noisy at all and don’t jam either. You can optionally add a lock to the zippers but they’re good enough as is.

Things I Do Not Like About GunMate Range Bag

Not Big Enough to Carry Larger Guns

The 1919687 is spacious and versatile, but it is only for handguns. You cannot put rifles or any long firearms in it. If you use long firearms then the 1919687 isn’t for you.

Slippery Inside

The interior of the bag is a bit slippery. It’s not so bad items will slip and slide inside but compared to other range bags you will feel it. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as some may like the smoothness so it’s not a big deal.

Do not use the 1919687 if there’s torrential rain as the items inside will get wet. The material is water resistant to some degree but doesn’t expect the content to remain dry in a downpour. A bit of rain and some splashing won’t hurt though.
